Apply for a Scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, Columbia Basin Transboundary Conference: One River, One Future is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships of up to $400 to registered students and non-profit professionals

In order to receive a scholarship, applicants must:

  • Attend the conference;
  • Work for a nonprofit or be a registered post-secondary student;
  • Volunteer at the conference (approximately 2 to 4 hours. Help at registration table, keep time at sessions, prepare registration packets);
  • Pay up front and we will reimburse eligible costs for travel, accommodation and registration;
  • Submit a final report including expenses and receipts and a short summary (250 words) on what was important to you at the conference;
  • Be at least 19 years of age.

Applications for the scholarship must be submitted by June 14, 2019. Applicants must also be registered or register for the conference at this time.

Successful applicants will be notified by July 15, 2019.  

Scholarships will be awarded after the conference and upon receipt of a post-conference final report, which will include a summary of expenses and a brief description of lessons learned/benefits of attending the conference.

The personal information requested in this Registration and subsequent submissions is collected under the authority of section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA), and will be used by Columbia Basin Trust for administrative and registration purposes relating to the Columbia Basin Transboundary Conference.
